What are the standard payouts for betting in roulette? I’m mainly looking for a red/black bet or number sets not an exact match.

Red, Black, Odd, Even, Low (1-18) and High (19-36) pay even money. If you bet $ 1, you get $ 1 winnings plus your original bet.

A column (12 numbers) pays 2-1. You win $ 2 plus your original $ 1 bet. You can also bet on first 12 (1-12), second 12 (13-24) or third 12 (25-36) for the same payout.

You can also place combined inside bets: two, three, four, five or six numbers.

Except for the five number bet (0, 00, 1, 2, 3) you can compute your payout as:

((36/n) -1) to 1. For example, if you bet 4 numbers,
(36/4 – 1) = 9 – 1 = 8.

Your payout is 8 to 1.

The true odds are 8.5 to 1, so you are losing 5.26% to the house on every bet.
